Privacy Policy

This is a short policy because this is a small site that does very little with data.

What we collect

When you load a page, our host records the ordinary technical information every web server records: the page requested, the time, an IP address, a referring page if there is one, and a browser identification string. This is used to keep the site running and to see roughly how many people read which pages. It is aggregated, and we do not attempt to identify individual readers from it.

If you email us, we hold your message and your address for as long as it takes to deal with it, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case the thread continues.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. Not to anyone, ever.
• We do not run advertising networks or behavioural tracking across other sites.
• We do not ask you to create an account, and there is nothing here to log into.
• We do not take payments, so we never see payment details.

Cookies

The site itself sets no tracking cookies. If we use a privacy-respecting analytics tool, it is configured to collect aggregate page counts without building profiles of individual visitors, and you can block it with any standard content blocker without affecting how the site works.

Opting out and removal

Because we hold almost nothing, opting out is simple. Blocking scripts and cookies in your browser leaves the site fully usable. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask at editor@moleynyapens.com and we will remove it.

Other sites

Where we link to a hotel or another external page, that site's own policy applies once you leave here. We have no control over what they collect.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version replaces this page. Material changes will be described in plain language rather than buried.
